EmployeeDeck is a simple yet powerful employee in-out board and message delivery system that runs in a Windows network environment.  With features like on-screen messages and message forwarding to SMS enabled devices, EmployeeDeck will simplify employee tracking.

Employee Availability

Instead of telling the receptionist that you are leaving the office, simply update your status in EmployeeDeck.  The instant-update feature means that all other EmployeeDeck users are notified when your status changes.

Message Forwarding

If an EmployeeDeck user sends you a message and you are away from your computer, that message will automatically redirect to your SMS enabled device such as a mobile phone.  This eliminates the need for the receptionist to track you down. 

 

Visitor Announcement

EmployeeDeck's visitor announcement feature makes it easy for the receptionist to notify you when an appointment has arrived.  Simply click the Visitor button and enter the visitor's name and company, and a message will be sent to the user's computer screen.

Message Acknowledgement

Ever wonder if the user read your message?  With EmployeeDeck's message acknowledgement, you can verify that the user had read your message.

Instant Messaging

EmployeeDeck provides the means for users to send on-screen messages to each other.  Messages sent are displayed on the user's desktop and must be closed out.  Unlike instant messenger software where the message does not appear on the screen, EmployeeDeck ensures that the end-user sees your important message.

Can't I do this with Instant Messenger such as ICQ or Yahoo?

Yes, you could.  But instant messaging programs such as Yahoo and iChat are often restricted in companies due to abuse.  Also, programs such as these generally don't display the message on the screen and require the user to acknowledge it.  If the user has their messaging program minimized, they will not see the message that was sent.  EmployeeDeck displays the message on the user's desktop and on top of all other applications.  This requires the user to close the message, acknowledging that they read the message.

  • Windows XP or Vista for end-user computer
  • 512 MB memory
  • Windows network.  Novell is not supported.
